Default front vs cold

Does anyone know anything about the new front air intakes.
Are they better than the full cold air?
What they rate the horse power gain at?
Should I just buy a full cold air?
Or a short?
I heard the full cold air suck up water is this true?

if you submerge any intake deep enough, you'll suck in water. even a stock one.

the FMIS are not any better than stock.
If you really want an intake, get a Cold Air Intake.
or
Spend $30 at Home Depot, build your own, and buy a $40 K&N cone filter
