Default Carbon Fiber Hood Fitment

I got my hood and put it on and it looks great and fits great except for the passanger side running along the fender. The end near the headlight and the end near the windshield are pretty good but right in the middle there's a 3/8"-1/2" gap. I've done all the adjusting and what not that I can think. Anyone have any ideas? I wonder if carbon fiber can be worked like fiberglass? Such as, heat it up and lay something heavy on it to sit it down and then wait until it cools. That's just an idea I come up with...not sure if it would work. I'm up for some ideas people please help.

Thanks
