Default Looking to sleeve my h22 block.. few questions

just wondering what the difference is with wet sleeves or dry sleeves and whats better flanged sleeves or non-flanged sleeves?! never really understood that.. let me know.. I'd prolly sleeve for turbo if that helps but i'd to know what the differences are for future reference. thanks

As I understand, wet sleeves touch water, and dry sleeves don't. For instance, stock B-series sleeves are dry since they are surrounded by aluminum. As for flaned vs non-flanged, flanged sleeves are typically stronger since they are braced on top. However, the H22A is already closed deck. So I don't know that it makes much of a difference whether the sleeve is flanged or not.
