I had a little get off @ 45 mph on my bandit, went sliding down the highway in a construction zone, was wearing this. No bodily injuries sustained, my psyche however, was a different story...

Former co-worker of mine laid a crotch-rocket down on I-85 in Atlanta doing about 110 wearing sandals, shorts, and tank-top. He spent a couple of months in Grady Burn Unit and went from about 250lbs to 180lbs...

With 310hp, I would hope you would have some. 310hp on a bike *shudders* How difficult is it to ride if it is?

I saw some idiot riding with only Khaki shorts and sandals the other day. Riding with no shirt/jacket is dumb.

Florida has no helmet law - VAST majority of motorcylists I see don't wear any protective gear to speak of. I always say to my fiancee when we see a biker w/o a helmet "Well, I guess that shows the value they place on their head."

But you know, I don't believe there should be any laws mandatin protective gear for motorcyclists - it is a demonstration of Darwinism at work...
