Default USDM b20z

Sup guys, my buddy just bought a usdm b20z and is planning to swap it into his DA (93 LS obdI). From what i know the b20z is a obdII so he'll need a obdII to obdI converter correct? Now what wiring harness will he need? Also what other things should be replaced other than the usual maintence (timing belt, tensioner, water pump)? I was also reading that the b20z's mainfold sits a bit high and hits certain chassis's hoods. Does this include the DA? or only the civic generation? I was also told that the b20z's manifold should be swapped for a LS manifold? AS for the mounts, the b20 mounts should fit correct? or will the stock LS mounts do? Sorry for all the questions guys, my buddies and I haven't delt with b20 swaps before. LMK guys thx.

He'll be running a b16 tranny and i recommended a OE clutch or stage 1. Either EXEDY or ACT...

use the engine harness off of the b18a thats coming out of the da.....done!
as far as mounts go; you will also use the ones off of the b18a.
its basically the same motor with a bigger bore.....
oh and im pretty sure the manifold clears the da hood.
good luck!

I have a 2001 B20z in a 91 da with a jdm b16 tranny, and yeah on the highway does suck at 70mph your right about 4000rpm but around town and on curvy roads it kicks ***. you will need to back date the obd by using the integra distributor and fuel injectors and the crv mani would not fit but like he said and from what i have heard 2 the B18 does flow better
