I would love to see some pics, how well do the rears tuck? Any chance of a 225-45-15 not rubbing with rolled rear lips?

 

Your ride height and camber specs will play a role in having rubbing issues as well.

I have these exact wheels. I have run them on various 205/50/15 tires for a long time....

I wonder why you are asking - these wheels in this size have been discontinued for some time, as a matter of fact I had to have mine shipped from japan a couple years back.....

 

why such a fat tire on the 7.5" rim?

I have 215's on a 16x8" rim, running square set up F/R.

well depending on the brand of tire a 205 doesn't sit quite right on the 7.5" wide wheel - it could use a bit more. I'm sure a 225 would fit fine - but don't know if your fenders or fender liners will love you anymore.....
