Default Turbo QUESTION!!! Turbo in Rainy season???

Im looking into buying a greddy turbo kit in a couple of months however I was wondering since my car is a daily driver, is it bad if I drive in rainy season??? Is there stuff that I need to watch out for?? Thanks...

watch out for ponds/lakes and don't drive through anything deep.

just to be extra safe, you might want to keep it inside when it rains and use the search function until you find some answers

It will be okay i have my i have been daily driving my for about a year now and we have got alot of rain last year and everythings been alright.

With the Greddy kit, you will not have any problems. The position of your filter wont allow any water. However, I ran no filter last season so I never took it out in the rain.

Why does it matter? I don't see a TSB from Audi/VW/SAAB/Volvo/Mitsubishi/etc about driving in the rain. Its like driving any other car in the rain, use caution and be aware.

i drive my boosted civic in the snow. i also like to bomb puddles. 2.5 years, 40k+ miles later, still going..

dont flood the car in water and you'll be fine. usually rain drops into the compressor vaporizes and only cools the turbo down

thats it pretty much...I always hated getting on the hwy; going into 5th gear and still no traction is scary
