Check out the current Sport Compact Car issue.
It's Chris D (6ghatch) in the red EK, Andy (AndyHope) in the white EG, and me in the Spoon bucket on the cover.
There's an article in there about the 07 Nationals written by Andy, mainly covering how his weekend went.
Chris D was in H1, Andy and I were in H2. The EG Andy was in was a "journalist car" that was borrowed from the NASA's National Chair Ryan F.
I was in Asia for couple weeks and didn't get to see the magazine until this week:

While I'm happy to see the photos and coverage, some corrections need to be made since there're quite a lot of misinformation reported in the article (7 in class, not 8; only 1 didn't finish on Sunday, not 2; etc.). The whole sequence of events for the Saturday qualifying race was also wrong.
I have the in-car video so I knew exactly what happened. I watched and re-watched to make sure that I got the facts straight. In Saturday race, Andy got a jump to first at the start (unlike what he wrote that I was first at the start), then a lap later I passed him fair and square coming out of the keyhole.
I was able to sail away with a comfortable lead, until I got stuck with the broken H1 traffic before Madness. I lost the 1-2 sec lead and allowed Andy to catch right back up to my bumper. A few turns later, Andy punted me the first time, not only sent me sideways a little, the contact also closed my exhaust tip almost completely shut. I was still able to stay in front. Then a few more turns later, he punted me AGAIN to spin me out of the lead.
In the article, he claimed that I laid on the brakes for too long, and he was forced to hit me to avoid being hit. Of course I do not agree since I wasn't even 1/2 way into the brake zone yet, and when I was behind Andy and other racers through that same turn, they were all on the brakes MUCH later than where the punt occurred. The race officials also saw the light, as they ruled Andy at fault and DQ'd him.
I was running at least 0.5 to 2+ sec faster than rest of the field until my exhaust got punted to almost completely shut. For the entire weekend, I was consistently staying at the top spots. For him to falsely publish that I was "unable to match the pace" and "slow", it does not only affect me personally, it also negatively affects my sponsors who have been supporting me all these years.
Andy should at least have the courtesy of asking for my in-car video, instead of basing the report off of his memory (quite short term memory in this case).

yep, i read that. i told my wife that i was familiar with "the cool dude that drives this car" and she just thought i was talking out of my ***. i said, "forget it, you wouldn't understand." she said, "no, i think it's cute..." WTF, i don't want to be labeled "cute." anyhow, i read the article and knew you'd be a little disconcerted with how the writer wrote about your driving
just kick *** next time and shut him up.

I caught the issue a while back also. Andy Hope has to be loving it there with all his track related functions there at Sport Compact Car. Congrats on the spread.
Pretty lame that someone gets paid to cover an event and misleads the coverage. Thats why half the articles and or threads out there are taking as a grain of salt, for this reason. Its all POV i guess.
Buts its all good, Wai your out there more than people know! I can only look up to that! I'm just glad to hear what REALLY happened out there. Lets continue to improve your teg...

Wai, remember. a genuine guy will always come out right no matter what because it is built within you. The liars and the cheaters can only cover their tracks for so long before everybody else catch up with them. Congrad

Awesome Wai. Sucks your day didn't go so well and they got so much wrong, but still cool to see your car on the cover. I might go pick this up after work.
