Just bought a 92 S model Prelude and the wipers will work on ALL settings when on but when you turn them off they do not return to the bottom, they stop whever they are. Also when driving the wipers will magically turn on and off whenever they want to. It is as if they have a mind of their own, I read about the relay under the CMS and the fuses are all good. Replace the actual switches on the steering wheel?

I do not know what the CMS is, but there is a relay under the resistor box. That is most likely the problem. My wipers do the same thing.

 

Clutch master cylinder, I thought that box only controlled the intermediate wipers though?

 

Check the relay, probably the culprit/.
