Default Mahle Gold Piston wrist pin size

I have a set of Eagle rods for type s rods which use .864 wrist pin. And the standard rods use a .866 piston pin. I believe that the mahle uses the .866, could anyone comfirm this ?

And if it does how hard would it be for a machine shop to open the rod end up .002 and install a new bushing ? Thats the only difference from what I understand between the two rods...correct ?

Should be really straight-forward for a machine to adapt the rods for larger pins.

ok good.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind honda designing a different wrist pin size for the type s rod ? Is there some engineering concept behind that or something ?
