Default Newbie question about spring/shock install.

I'm about to install aftermarket springs/shocks into my 91 HF. The drop is 1.7 and 1.5. Question is, do i need to trim the bump stop or not? Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Newbie question about spring/shock install. (klion22)

i would... the stock bumpstops are made for stock height... so lower the height, more chance of bottoming out (even thought the springrates are higher) cut stock bumpstops in half... itl be fine, no negative affects in cutting them
