What is the best way to remove the lower bolts of the rear struts. My bolt heads broke off and it seems to be fused with the bushing. I know its an old car. (1996) Should I try melting the bushing? I've tried hammering the bolt through the strut. It is not wanting to move. Also sprayed pb.

drop the shock/spring assembly and lca off the car as a whole and it will be easier to work on. If I were you, I would go ahead and just replace the lca and shocks to save headache. Lca's are like 50 bucks a peice from acura

 

anything to get it off. I'm putting coilovers on. Thanks for the info guys.

 

Like he said remove the lca and strut as a whole,I had the same issue just buy the new lcas from acura or get some after market ones like blox ,skunk2 etc. Believe me you are going to end up having to cut that bolt out.
