Default SQUEAKY CLUTCH, CABLE TRANNY

hey guys, my clutch pedal has been squeaking a lot when i press the clutch pedal down, and the pedal feels really stiff. I know wd40 will prolly help, but i dont know where to lube it up at, and the weird thing is that my pedal doesnt have that "loose, rebound that most cars have. Any help would be appreciated.

Just follow the pedal arm up, and use something better than wd40 try tri flow.
Wd40 is a solvent not a good lube.

hey mike, i feel kinda the same way rite now that its gonna break off... but im not sure if its the transmission itself and if it has anything to do with the throw bearing. I am going to swap a b20 into my car with a heavy duty clutch so i wouldnt want the bracket to go out on me... But as of now it sure seems that way.

I lubed the pivot area liberaly and the spring, I also tried to spray into the cable
under the hood were it connects to the tranny. It worked for me. good luck

My 91 Civic STD did the same thing until I sprayed the pedal area w/PB blaster. It just started squeeking again, so I must reapply it.

yeah i might get the spray for it. I will be doing a motor swap this weekend and i will be using a stage 2 6-puck clutch. So Im not sure if my pedal is going to feel the same, if even more f'ed up. Does anyone know if the pedal stiffness comes from the throwout bearing, or even the clutch cable (oem one snapped, currently running one from autozone). Ive driven a few other hondas in a couple of days and their clutch pedal feels nothing like mines even with a stage 3 clutch...
