hey guys, i have heard that B-series blox cams are almost exactly the same as skunk2 cams just cheaper. is that true for the H-series also?

 

Blox does not make their own cams, they produce copied versions of competitors cams and sell them under their own name.

 

Buying their products does nothing but help put the innovative companies out of business...

Kinda funny how Jun USA didnt do very well with their high dollar prices. Skunk2 copied the jun3's and skunk called it a stage 2, everybody buys the same cam for 300 bucks less. Now another company wants to make a living and not a killing buy selling the same cam for 300 bucks less than Skunk2. Blox is going to put Skunk or other companies out of business? If you wanna make a difference help out a racer and buy some Bisimoto products, Skunk is getting what they did to other companies years ago, its just the way it works.

 

See i hear they are the same to. But ill tell you what i got the Blox B cams for my h22 and they were prolly the worst cam i have ever used in my life.

From what I understand the S2 stage 2 cams are not copies of the Jun 3 cams, they are similar. People have just stated on the internet that they are copies and everybody's been running with that. We all know cam specs don't tell the whole story, ramp angles and centerlines can vary even though two cams appear to have identical specs on paper. It's when a company takes a cam and copies anothers exact dimensions, then people start having problems. This is what Blox did with their "type c" cam..a direct copy of the June 3 cam. You'll also take note that their B cams are copies of the S2S2 cams so obviously S2S2's are not copies of the Jun 3's.

I doubt Blox has the time or money to R&D a product and sell it for that cheap. They're saving money some how.
