Default mix tire size?

I'm getting some new tires for my wheels this spring, would it be retarded to run 205/45/16's for the front and 205/50/16's for the rear? it'll give me a bit of rake but I'm wondering if it will adversely affect my handling?

I'm pretty slammed on omni's... a beaks reinforcement kit and an itr sway.

yes this will affect your handling, why are you changing your side wall hieght insted of the width. try using a 215-45-16 in front and a 205-50-16 in rear.

wont that rub? offset is +35 a 215 in front might be too wide.. would the sidewalls of those two be similar?

mostly for a bit of rake, because the front needs to be a bit higher for turning.. when slammed.

does anyone have an idea what that would feel like?

BAD IDEA.

If you're having problems with changes you've made to your suspension, don't try to compensate by using the wrong tire sizes. You're just going to make things worse.

If you want to change the ride height, do it with the suspension, not with the tire sizes.

it might. nsxtasy is right, for the height you should change your suspension not your tire sizes
