Default Weak metal from dent?

So I have a dent in one of my doors from my mom backing into the side of my car . I pushed the dent out ,but the metal seems weak in that area now, I can just push the dent back in without much pressure. How is this usually fixed?

once the metal is stressed it looses its tempur...cant do much with out plastic filler and repainting the door, its just gonna have to be a soft spot

If your door feels like a soda can then just like the person that posted above me said you will need to heat up the metal to shrink it in certain spots. And also do some hammer and dollying on it before any proper body work can be done. If you do body work over that it will not last.
If you don't want to take it to a shop I suggest you buy a used door from a junk yard. And paint it.

i agree with him, a good cash n carry junkyard will only charge you around 50-75 for a door that you go and pull off yourself. usually.

if its stretched to the point of being able to push it out and touching it pushes it back in, i am 95% sure pdr will not be able to fix it. once metal stretches to a certain point, there is no getting it to go back without bondo
