I had one of my hoses bust over the weekend and i found out it was the one for my transmission fluid. I put more fluid in and the car idles higher than it used to and it cuts off a couple seconds after i shift it into reverse. idk if the cutoff is caused by too much or too little ATF. and idk why the idle would have changed because of that. a little help?

 

hmmmm Well all hondas have a DIPSTICK so you can check the trans fluid level with the engine off.
But I just can't remember where the trans fluid line is on that 79 Accord with the Hondamatic 3 speed
