Price paid in Maryland Area for 08' Si Coupe?
Hey all,
I used to be a long time member until I sold my 00' Civic for a 05' Frontier. Well I miss the Civic and I miss all the fun of driving it. Anyways, I am looking for a 2008 Civic Si coupe in Silver in the Maryland area. I want to know what you all paid out the door for yours and if you could recommend someone in the area. Thanks in advance and I hope to be on board again soon.

I got mine WAY back in Oct. 4th of 07. I was dying for an si and waited about 2 agonizing months for, i think, one of the very first 08s to hit MD.
A "family friend" in Ellicott City promised me a date, then it somehow got held up on the production line. Finally, nearly 3 weeks later, a guy from College Park Honda gave me a call and said he had one. I literally showered the dirt of from my softball game with a gallon of water, drove my old Saturn through D.C. rush hour traffic, and drove home happy 3 hours later. I paid $22,500 OTD.
and its worth it.

Man you got raped. I live in New Jersey and paid sticker price for my car. There is no reason you should pay over msrp. Don't settle for it.

Well, this was short lived. I went to the dealership and test drove one and then we agreed on a price and then I told them about my trade. Well the KBB on my truck is between $16-17,000 the Dealership only wanted to give me 13,000 !!! Needless to say, I left. I am looking at the new Altima Coupe hoping that the Nissan dealership will be a little more fair since I bought from them. We will see.
Raped? Some fools are paying over a 23 sticker w/o navi. Don't get me wrong, i know i could have paid a k or two less if i waited it out until more arrived. I just didn't want to. And don't go to College Park Honda like i did, they are scumbags. I take my ride to an independant shop i Odenton. I'll happily overpay THEM to mod. and tune it.
norris HONDA in dundalk is fair I paid $21.500 OTD with wheel locks, mud guards, and gap ins. in dec of 06. I think you could bet my price too. if you said that I sent you there we both would get a gift card so let me know and I will give you the info.

You said in your last post that you had to wait two months anyway. Besides, you don't have to "wait until more arrive". You go in the dealership and tell them what you want, and then the factory builds it and ships it to you. Bottom line is, no one should settle for a car over msrp. If you have nav, then you paid right at msrp. If you don't have nav, then you got screwed.

could have been worse. And i waited because 08s didn't exist yet at the time. Every dealer told me Oct. 16 was the arrival date for the NHBP and a few weeks later for the Fiji. I didn't even feel safe in the rain with my old shitbox, so getting something asap was a priority to me. Still worth it in the long run, who cares about a few dollars more a month when my life could have been in jeopardy?
