Because of the secondary runners of the IM, I recommend the H22 ECU, or P13. That would be the best bet.

A stock P71 will work, but don't just use it as your daily ECU. Have it chipped and put a P13 basemap on it, and then you still have IAB's.

p13 is the h22 ecu, you can run any chipable ob1 ecu, but why waste your time

chipped P28. either crome tuned or Hondata, etc... but forget the prelude brain, or the accord, or the Gsr brain.. just run the P28. i've had lots of H22 swaps and they all ran the best on a chipped p28. even a good basemap on a p28 will work.

Well he could run any chipped P06/P08/P13/PR4/PR3/P71/P72/P28/P30/P61...they all use the same board, just some need extra stuffs for b-tak.

he could run any brain..... but its a case of do you want to? who cares about the knock sensor. or the butterflies or the other various garbage that the other ecu's will throw a code for. why wire up all this unnecessary stuff. P28 uses the minimum sensors and still works great.

I have a P61 and I am throwing no code for EGR or IAB's and neither are wired up. Plus, it's usually cheaper to find the PR4's and P06's

I have use a P28 in my 95 and have no problems no IAB's wired and just took the knock sensor out... and if your planning on using hondata i would use a P28, 72, 30 so you can use it. Hondata isn't compatible with the P13 i believe.
