Hi,

Need to replace my headlights soon. Is Depo better than those cheap quality headlights I can get on Ebay, and is Depo comparable to Stanley (OEM)? if not what is the difference?

I want to stay away from Authentic JDM headlights money issue and I want something that will give me better quality for my money.

DEPO is a good brand. As long as you take care of the "lens", you'll be fine. Once you neglect cleaning them on a regular basis, they will turn yellow and/or dull out quick.

The "eBay" ones, I have on experience with but I have been through a set of generic aftermarket headlights that turned out REALLY well for the price. Came with bulbs for the high/low beam as well as the corner lights + bulbs/sockets. I ended up using them for my retrofit and found out that the housing on them were actually fiberglass than plastic. Turned out fine for me though..

 

they are suppose to be the better ones of the aftermarket replacement headlights...do you have a 95 accord if so I believe I have a set that I could sell lmk

 

Is it a good idea to put a clear film over the front of the headlight, will that ensure it wont get so bad so quickly?

 

Just get a can of clear coat w/ UV protection. I think 3M makes it?
