I Need Info On The H2B QuarterSports Kit For The EG Chasis let Me know?????
I need some info on the QSD kit. I called QSD and Evolution now of course bothe of them bad mouthed each other. QSD was saying the difference is that there kit keeps the tranny in the stock position therefore stock mounts(not saying I will) will work and your axles and everything lines up.. That's on thing I like plus it's way cheaper. The Evolution was saying they do that for more clearance so that all you have to do is a few bangs with a mallet on the drivers side frame rail to make room for the pulley, and with the QSD kit you damn near have to put a hole in it and that's one thing that scared me. Another thing is that the QSD kit doesn't have an extended shift fork. Although I did hear that there is no problem with clutch feel and shifting. I'm leaning toward QSD though because it's $780 shipped and Evo is $1309 plus my boy has a QSD kit still in the box I may take off his hands for like $450, And like I said I like the fact the tranny stays in stock position, so I need people with personal experience with the QSD kit to let me no of any problems I may run into or show pics of that drivers side fram rail............

i did not have to cut or bang my framerail with the qsd kit, and im in an ef. There is more room in an eg. IMO, if you are already b-series, there is no reason to use the evo kit, you already have the mounts, flywheel etc.
I have personally decided on QSD as well but I have nice mounts already and a few other reasons like axle placement and ground clearance.
If your friend wants to sell that QSD kit and you end up buying an evo kit let me know.

QSD Is what i had. And it works perfectly, Ground clearance is horrible on an evolution kit.

I purchased an Evo kit. I did not have to bang the frame rail once. Although i did just to release some frustration with the build.
If i could go back I would go with the QSD. My header clearance is absolutely garbage and evo didnt even supply me with enough bolts to finish the swaps. Do you know how hard it is to find the correct thread and length bolts at 8pm on a saturday night because your 1100 dollar kit didnt give you enough of the correct ones?????? Plus evo never responded to 1 of my emails after the fact when i wanted to give them some constructive feedback on their kit.
Take this from an evo kit owner - Buy the QSD

Sorry but I made my mind up lol. I'm going QSD, and even if I didn't get the Qsd I dont think I would go Evo $1309 is way to much. If there was no Qsd I just would go H2b. I have always been a budget builder.
