Default help help hep!!! b16a siR EF9 engine!!!!!!!!

i have a b16a and i wanted to know is it safe to install CTR pistons that are .5 over bore or should i get ctr pistons that are stock size!!! well can somone tell me what i need to do to have these pistons in that engine and if it would run good and wont break down!! what do i need to do!!!

You cannot install oversized pistons on a stock bore. If you go oversize, then the cylinder bores need to match the size of the new piston plus the piston to wall clearance. That is something a machine shop will help you with. Measuring inside bores accurately takes a lot of practice and good tools.

thanks!! yea i know that i have to bore the block!! but i wanna know if its ok to install pct(CTR) PISTON IN A B16A!!

Yes it's perfectly fine to install CTR pistons in a B16A. It bumps the compression up nicely and allows you to make more power. It's a good supporting mod for cams in the future as well, because you'll actually be able to take advantage of the extra compression you're running.
