^^Listen to this guy.
You don't want the Type-S Transmission, won't work, not with TONS of custom work, if then. And it does not have an LSD, it has the ATTS System.
RSX Type-S Transmission will not work.
B-Series Transmission will work with an Adapter, which I don't think is quite $1,200 but close to that.
And there are multiple OEM Transmissions with LSD's.

^^ the two posts above you are accurate. The Prelude Type-S (JDM only) tranny uses the ATTS system (a glorified electronic differential) also found in the Prelude SH (USA) which has a lot of components that it needs beyond the tranny. I don't know that the gearing is any different, either. There were Prelude transmissions with a factory LSD (like the SiR S-spec, as mentioned) or you could do a B-series if you have a lot of $$ (known, I belive, as an H2B motor at that point); which while expensive is popular among racers.
WHAt MLB said and who he quoted are correct. The rest of the posts should be deleted.
Seeing as how the OP's name is EG6, I imagine you have a civic. Do the H2B. They seem to be 13-12 second car.
