Default both o2 sensors went bad at once....now its time for echeck

about 8 months ago my check engine light came on, so i went to go get it checked, and both of my o2 sensors had gone bad. this is in a 96 dx coupe. i didnt really think anything of it but now i gotta get echeck in a week. last week i replaced the o2 sensors with two known good ones but one still registered as being bad, so now im trying to figure out a way to still pass and not have to buy a new sensor for my piece of **** beater. i read that you can take out a fuse to disable your diagnostics port, forcing the echeck peoples to have to put the car on the rollers. as long as my cat is good will i be able to pass, assuming nothing else is wrong with it. im just looking for some ideas/insight as to what i should do. thanks.
