Default VW Golf 2000cc 4-cylinder header.

This header:



will be going on these cars:



It's for the fun cup series (http://www.funcup.com). There is still about 5 feet missing where a muffler will go.

I love working with cars like this because it's so easy, so much room to work with.

looks great is it for an 8v 16v or 20v? cant see the flange to tell

counterflow 8v?

I don't know. I was given the sizes of tubes I had to work with, and I just had to make it fit. So I don't know how many valves these motors have.

The results are in!



My design lost about 2 hp up top, but gained 5 everywhere else, they already had a very good design and where very impressed.

Looks good, Id give up 2 hp at peak for 5+ hp in the midrange like that.

BTW: Thats also pretty good power from a 8v on most likely carbs and stock valves.

solid numbers for an 8v. To put it in perspective my 2.0 counterflow with mild bolt ons and lackluster tuning makes a tad over 100hp
