Default 94-97 foglight question

ok so i WAS about to start installing my fog lights i bought, their OEM style replicas. They have a OEM replica wiring harness and everything. My question is can i some how make the fog lights turn on whenever? It says in the installation i can only turn on the foglights when the headlights are on? is their a way to make them turn on whenever i press that switch?

Thank You HT

jimmy

ok.. after taking into consideration the OEM 94-97 fogs are rare and discontinued, not to mention are the "real thing" could you explain how having the replicas makes you luckier than having real thing?

I think I have the exact same oem replica fogs yoou have. They are great but apparently I guess yours didnt come with a switch? If you pul out the steering wheel console thing in the back you will see a plug that has 6 wires going to them. One of those have nothing in there, you get a female pin and get the new wiring you got and put it in the hole. this way everytime you turn the lights on the fogs turn on. I will post a instruction manual I got on here so you can see

oh no, it came with a switch, kind of a shitty knock off lol . You get what you pay for huh, but i figured it out found a constant power on the fuse box and just plugged it in to one of those. But god damn i love these fogs. I'll try to get a pic up, i love em!

i don't think you should hook it up to a constant 12v just in case you do accidentally leave them on after you turn your car off so it doesn't run your battery dead. find a ignition power source, so it'll only come on when your ignition is in the on position. i wired up my buddy's jdm fogs like this, i just used his cruise control button because the power is a ignition line.

i wanna see some pics of these replicas though.

yeah, its all hooked up :D honestly they were worth how much i payed , if i can get a nother set i would!, only issue i've had so far is the , button is "ghetto" feeling AND the foglight covers are hard to put on, not sure if thats normal or w/e but who cares. I'll post a pic in a bit, gotta take the car to a car wash ............don't mind the 4x4 when pics are up ....Its winter xD
