Help ITR lip install??
I just bought a ITR front lip for my 94 teggy. It came from tunerz image but they are closed till monday and i wanna put it on. It has already predrilled holes i'd assume for self tapping screws. I can mock the lip up and it fits perfect around the contour of the car. Thier are 2 screw holes on each end of the lip i put in 1 screw on each side to hold it so i could adjust it to sit perfect and i was gonna put 1 in the middle.
My problem is underneath the lip won't catch on any of the factory bumper to take a self tapping screw. The only places i can screw it in is on the ends the other holes don't line up with anything just air. I can't even redrill holes on the bottom side the lip just don't go back far enough.
Am i doing something wrong?
does the stock bottom lip need to be removed?
i just tried to mount it over it..
lmk wanna try to get this thing on soon.

That don't really help...
I know how to install it i put a mugen lip on my ek from tunerzimage has well no problem.
This one fits around the bumper perfect and the 2 screw holes in each fender well lineup perfect. But all the rest of the predrilled holes don't come close to hitting my factory bumper cover underneath to screw it onto the bottom.
I'm thinking maybe its a 98-01 lip and maybe someone has experciened something similiar.
I don't believe i need to remove the lower lip on my stock bumper cover do I?
I COULD USE DOUBLE SIDED adhesive tape but it is'nt gonna hold very well i'd much rather screw it down on the bottom.
Anybody????????????

very true... I would use double sided tape and not drive anywhere, and wait till Monday till they open back up, lol
I would of got a SIR_G lip rather than a tunerzimage one.. GL

Lot of people used double sided tape for the middle just to keep it flush. Just buy 3mm tape, it should work great. Try finding outdoor adhesive tape, that **** will keep your mailbox attached even after someone hits it.

I got mine from them too, its supposed to come with mounting hardware. They forgot to send mine when i got it and i'm guessing you have the same problem. Call them and they'll send it to you. BTW I used rivets to secure the hardware to the bottom of the lip then just zip-tied the braces to the underside of the bumber
If you had a 98-01 lip you would def know it
I have the same lip on my car
I used the hardware they gave and used some of my own nuts/bolts
It fits fine, mine just started to sag in the middle because I didn't fully attatch it (waiting til I paint it
)
Just hold off til tomorrow to call them if you must
Just takes some problem solving skills to get it on
