I found it interesting that our cars are in such demand that Acura sent this letter out to all of their rsx owners. Anyone else experience something like this in other regions? I'm curious as to what "top dollar" is.

Yeah, they are probably not giving anymore for the cars now than they would any other day.
The RSX's are in demand, but KBB (and others) reflects this.

i never got anything...but then again the acura dealer i bought mines always has 5 or more rsx's and i see them get sold weekly, i drive by it every week when i goto school and i always see different colors in and out of that dealer
By "high demand" they mean "high resale value". They're trying to make money off you twice - once when you trade it in for less than it's worth, and once when you buy another Acura! Suckaaaa!

F*ck Acura. No one hardly knew about the letter they even sent out. I hate people who don't do their job....
They gave me a ballpark est. of $16 for my 17k(miles) car
Hell I bought it for $27.5, Full A-spec, in 06! They definitely need to be more organized before sending a letter out like this......

the fact that you actually thought this wasnt a marketing gimmick is worth the read in itself. i had a nissan before my rsx and they would call me about once a month and give me the same story. now i drove a 2002 nissan sentra se-r spec-v which i dont think was ever in demand, but sure enough they would call at least once a month and try this on me.

I used to get these letters all the time when I had my VW, probably once every two or three months. Dealers are having real hard times selling new cars right now. The used car market is quite strong though.
