d16z6 vs d16y8

Is there any difference between the d16z6 head and the d16y8 head? My headgasket is going out on me on my 96 coupe and I wanna get another head to send to the machine shop.

That's cause he still is a n00b. Anywho, I'd get a d16z6 head.. But, what motor is this going on?

x2, and the y8 intake mani if you can get a hold of it. Its flow rate is proven to be higher than the z6. Its bigger and plenum and its runner are a lot better than the z6.
