Default turn signal CAI duct

Yes I know this is a "B.A." 4gen and I give them mad props, but does anyone know where that little duce/vent in the place of the turn signal can be found?

Yep, you won't find one anywhere.

You need a dremel and some cojones, that is just about it.

If you look at it, it would appear to be a stock signal with a hole cut in it. So, get a turn signal (stock or not) and cut a hole in it. Might also be good to make sure your air filter is behind it and you might make some ducting to get the air to the right spot.

i took a dremel to the reflector next to the indicator.

then got some sikiflex and some mesh to allow more air into that area where the CAI filter sits

lol. I was on an ******* spree this morning. Its over now though, I just finished test 2 of 2 today. 1 more tomm morning and then I'm off to the mountains to snowboard for the weekend w000000t. btw, too

OP, if you really need to do this, you should look into dryer exhaust tubing, it is very bendable and quite inexpensive.

Your serious about flexable exhaust tubing/ducting? I'm not disagreeing at all because I've used it myself playing with different intake methods in the fourth gen body.

Ie. remove resonator, and run filter where resonator would be, than creating a mesh inlet from tire spin, (ofcourse an air bypass is smart to prevent hydrolock and ofcourse the filter gets dirty fast, but its easy to remove and clean).

I just want to know for sure its safe. I know it wouldn't be wise to use outside engine compartment though unless sealed somehow, so probably straight aluminum would be safest inbehind bumper under the splash shield.

(on another note on intake, as far as FI is concerned how does the inlet pipe diameter into the throtle body affect airflow, and pressure? what is more efficient to produce power? Or is that all based on the Turbo itself so would be hard to linearize?) I know I could search but I'm sure I'd get the best answer right from the horses' mouth!
