Default the build questions

ok i just got my block all done. its a gsr block bored to 86mm and resleeved, cp pistons, arp head studs, acl bearings, type r water pump/ oil pump. here are some pics.

now i am onto the head work. i am looking to buy a b16 head. what would be to best cam gears, cam shafts, and valvetrain to run. also my pistons are 13:1 compression ratio with a cometic head gasket that puts it down to around 12.5:1 ration

"<U>best</U>" is such a bad word to use.

What are your power goals and budget? With that kind of compression I'd say Pro 2s or even bigger depending again on power goals and budget. Obviously clay the motor and triple check your clearances with those pistons. I hate to use the standard honda-tech/forum response but search. There's a lot of good info in the all motor forum, where you might want to post this question (fair warning tho you might get a few not so nice answers if you use the whole "what is best" line).

-edit-Might as well have it PnP to really take advantage of the cams/compression.

if i were you id go with some skunk 2 pro 2's, there a very nice cam expecially for a built engine like yours. Im going to be using the pro 1's on my build but it will be an OEM bottom end and daily driven. And yes tripple check all clearences and make sure you clay everything. And what is this car going to be used for, track use only im assuming? And i can deffenitly see you hitting 230whp with that setup, with a good tune that is.
