whats up guys? its been a little while since i posted. i got rid of my si back in october and have since been spending every possible penny and spare moment on a 93 civic hatch. one of my neighbors has some 2006 civic si seats for sale. i am really wantin to get em since i'll be painting the hatch Rallye Red and i just miss the comfort of them. i know i have seen an ek on the board with them in it. does anyone know where to get some seat brackets that will mate the FG seats with an EG chassis? i want my SI SEATS AGAIN!!!!!!!

and just to give an idea on why it has taken me so long to work on the hatch and it still isnt running,... built b16 motor, turbo, mini cooper tail lights (brackets mounted and flushed with bubble runnin down the body), metal tacked in on all body lines, all new prothane bushings in undercarriage, shocks springs, rear disc conversion with slotted rotors and hawk pads all around, and i am doing all the work outside since i dont have a garage. so this weather has been holding me back quite a bit. not to mention the 21 hours i am taking at school this semester but the tornados yesterday didnt mess up the car so im trying to finish the car up thsi weekend.

any help would be greatly appreciated. and before anyone says it, i did try searching but just didnt come up with my answer. maybe i didnt get the proper keywords. lemme know

 

It has been awhile.

I think the 06+ si seats are really comfortable. They're also really heavy and sit up pretty high. If the EG is a show car then by all means go for it. If the EG has been built to perform then the heavy *** 06+ si seats may not be the best idea. In addition to the added weight, trying to fab brackets so your head doesn't hit the ceiling is gonna take some time/money.

Jman just buy Recaros, more comfortable IMHO or go ask in A&C, they will know

 

thanks for the input guys. as for the height issue, i have never posted a pic on here, but i'm not very tall haha. i'm 5'4". but yea, they are heavy, but the hatch is pretty much gutted so the little bit of extra weight wouldnt be too much of a problem. i'll check into it and see what i can find. keep the suggestions coming though
