where to tap hot wire!!

i bought a sub-harness from http://www.rywire.com and i got all the rest of the ecu repinned on my 93 cx hatch with a d16z6. now i just need to splice the hot onto a wire on the ecu. the paperwork said pin A25 but when we put it on there, the car wouldnt start. so we disconnected it for now and im trying to find somewhere to splice the wire so i can get my cel to go off and get better gas mileage.

are you sure you have a25 spliced? is it black with a yellow stripe?
