i bought a crx over the week and wondering if anyone can help me out. im new to the site so be nice..

on the motor casting numbers are

S1-1041160 on the block

then B16A 1402964

the head has PR3-2..

what year did the head and motor come out and what did motor come out of? if you need pics let me know.

 

S1 is the tranny.
B16A is a B-series 1.6 Liter displacement engine. In short, PR3 is the casting code for the head on that engine.
There are a couple of cast numbers on teh front side of the head that tell you what year it was manufactured. They are a few circles with a line through them and you can see a 91 or whatever on them.

thanks for the help. i rewired the car and all the lights, heater. works

but i dont hear the fuel pump priming or if i turn the key there is nothing there and then the heater goes out. turn the key to the on position the heater turns back on. could it be a relay?
