today is my first time driving the civic. :D i noticed that i CAN NOT close/lock the hood. I push and pull the cable to see if it would help me lock the hood. Nothing happen. Oh i almost forgot i spray it with wd40 and rust removal already as well.


Any ideas? Tips on how to fix this would be nice


I wanted to put in my CAI, but am affraid someone would just pop my hood open and take my CAI/Strud bar,..

is the hood aftermarket? replacement? has the car ever been in an accident? my guesses would be that the latch and locking mechanism aren't lined up properly, or the locking mechanism itself is a f*cked up....

 

lol hood pins with master locks on them - just kidding, maybe you need a new hood latch?
