Speed/Rev Limiter on ITR
I have searched this, but got no clear answer. Also, I am not planning to do ricer fly-bys or anything of that sort, but...
What is the Speed Limiter set at on the ITR? As in, what is the fastest you could go in a limited ITR?
Guy is wondering and I had no idea for sure...

About 152-3 mph with stock fd, just as a reference a stock gsr will top out at about 138-9 mph.
One of the things I always loved about the ITR was it's top end speed. I remember racing cars that would of smoked the R from a dig, but couldn't shake the R off at autobahn speeds. (i.e. E36 M3, 1st gen S4, SC T-bird, etc.)

hey Bbasso, is that your cluster?
this is waaaaaaay OT, but does your temp gauge stay there when the car is warm? That is the same place where mine rides, but it didn't used to, and so I always think my car is overheating.
Is that pretty normal? If so, that is a HUGE load off my shoulders.

son of a bit$%. This whole time I thought I was driving around over heating everywhere I went.
When the car is moving, the gauge drops a bit, but when I stop it goes right to that spot in the picture. I must have tore into that car a hundred times, looking for leaks, adding coolant, testing thermostats.... LOL.
I posted up here once, but everyone's answers were all different as to where the gauge should actually be.

that picture is very old, but when I had the stock thermostat that was the normal position. For years now I have the JR 160deg thermo so it never goes above the normal position but tends to stay a little bit lower.
