i just recently bought a 92 civic lx 4 door, it runs and drives great except whenever u stop at a light or the car sits idle the oil light comes on and it starts ticking, i just did an oil change on it and the oil is full and there is no oil leaks, i tried to turn the idle up cause it idles kinda low still the same problem, any help would be greatly appreciated

 

could be a bad oil pressure sensor - search under archived threads for "oil pressure sensor" and see if anything pops up

yea, i just did a quick search cause i wasn't sure if that sounded right..but yea, thats what it does sound like...bad oil pressure sensor

 

thanks man i really appreciate it, im bout to go give it a try see if that will help, the sensor isnt but like 5 bucks
