2000 SI radio into a 97 LX???

I have searched and have found nothing... Before I tear my dash apart, I was wondering if this was just a plug and play procedure or not? Thanks.

No. You'll need a harness for the '97 Civic, and a Reverse harness for the newer radio.

Ditto that.^^^
Also the face plat trim is diff. and the mounting system is diff., not that it can't be made to fit/mount.

Any tips on how the hook up of the reverse harness goes? Im not the best when it comes to car audio.

And also remember the remote keyless entry/security system is built into the 96-98 CD players.

The harness adapter and the revers harness will connect together color for color.
