To start off i have a 95 ex coupe 5 speed with the factory d16z6. My question is can I use a VSS from an automatic? Also could I use one from a different d series transmission or even a b series? My speedo isnt working and I want to get this fixed ASAP. Any info is appreciated.

EDIT: So i searched and found that all electronic d and b series vss' are interchangable... Now all i need to know is if automatic vss are interchangable with the manual vss.. Thanks in advance.

All D series transmission's VSS will work with each other. I have tried to confirm this. I am pretty sure an automatic VSS will with on a manual and vise versa. B series VSS is where I am unsure. My guess is maybe, maybe not. Thats the best I can go with that part.
