01 salvage title gsr shell, no motor, front seats, missing some trim, and rolling on steelies. Clean body and paint.

 

I'd only pay $1000 tops for a shell. It's going to cost you $2800 or so for a JDM GSR engine+transmission, roughly $500-$1000 for seats, $300 minimum for used GSR blades (or spend more on Rotas), and however much more for installation/maintenance/misc. parts, etc. Add those up and see if it's worth it to you.

Of course, you can always go further and buy a Type-R engine+transmission or even a turbo set up since you're basically starting from scratch.

you could probably buy a complete gsr for less than what its gonna take you to make a complete one.

 

here's my wild *** guess: no more than 1-2k?

 

they know you want it so they get the most of it.
so for me the most for a shell will be 300 or 50 like the junkyard.

better buying a running LS and slap a vtec emblem and call it a day.

update, carfaxed it came up as a dismanteled title which means the car can only be used for parts. Glad I didn't make an offer
