Default HELP! Water in my floor!

i have been getting water in the passenger side floor board in the front and back when it rains. theres no water on the dash, doors, seats, etc, that would indicate where the water is coming from. is there a common problem with this? i even went out and sat in my car today while it was raining for about 10 minutes and didnt see where it was coming from.

this is a 94 civic lx.

nah, jk. the water is proly coming from under the carpet. u might have to pull the carpet to find the source. wherever it's the most wet start there.

lolzzz, I have the same problem, I've actually watched it come down before, it trickles down from the firewall to make a lake on the passenger side carpet. I just stop caring about it after a while.

When I went to wire in my amp and subs I found that the rubber grommet (the fat one) on the passenger side was cracked and was letting water into my interior. I replaced it and ran a 0ga wire throught it, no more water in my pass floorboard.

There's like three or four of those gaskets both big and small in the firewall, check them from the engine bay replace any that are cracked or have holes in them it should help a little at least.

My hatch had a leak out back and a leak in both floor boards. The rear leak was actually from water seaping in through in behind the "foam seal" behind the tail lense.

The front ones were from rust holes underneath the roof liner or roof tracks. Pull up on them with a flat-edge screwdriver and peer down under them. Mine would drip down the A-pillar and end up pooling in the floor boards.
