whats up guys. I remember a while ago i came across a thread that showed how to install a map light in a civic. I'd like to do this if possible.

But also, I noticed that my interior is so dark at night, I'd like to brighten it up a little bit. My mom has a tsx, and there is a little blue led light up where her map light is, and it spreads this blue ambient light throughout the interior, its real nice (bmws have amber lights like this). Anyway, i was wondering if anyone has ever done this in their cars, i think i might try it

 

So you don't have the map light yet? Why don't you see how it lights before you decide to modify it?

Only the '98-'00 Civics with moonroofs have maplights stock btw. So if you want a stock one, that's where to get it from.

 

i have a 97 with a moonroof, but no map light. I'd like to install the map light, and while doing that, i would possibly install an led light.

do you have the diy?
