Skunk2 sleaves/koni yellows on my rsx (I need help/advice) !!!
Ok so-
I have had this setup for like 3 years on my rsx. Skunk2 sleaves with spring rates of 558 in the front and 335 in the rear.
My car always is hitting the bumpstops, and BANGS on big bumps because of the weird spring rates ( i assume)
THe konis have started to leak in the front 2 only- which I plan to send to them to get rebuilt under warranty.
What I am wondering is- I know ground controls skeaves are like the same exact thing, they might fit better with the konis and they have different spring rates but are similar.
I talked to a skunk2 customer rep, who I asked for help on my harsh ride quality.
HE said my best bet is to raise it up-
I wondered if getting lower spring rates for the front springs would help- possibly getting like 335-375 for the front instead of what I have now (558)
he told me that the spring would just compress more, and keeping it at the same ride height would make the ride quality worse???
THen I was thinking about getting some springs from eibach with custom spring rates to interchange with my skunk2 spinrgs in the sleaves...
I dont know what to do, any advice from you suspension guys would be great
p.s: I like no gap between the tire n fender, but it doesnt have to be dumped or anything, just a nice stance

were the yellows inserts or did they come as a whole unit?
From everything i have heard skunk2's don't work with koni's. But i never thought about it on a strut application that might use an insert.
PS: The warrenty probably wont cover the rebuild. Since you are bottoming out the shock, and it isn't a wear and tear thing, they might tell you SOL.
