Default ?? ebay ITR replica urethane lip fitment

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

I was wondering if anyone has tried this lip, I'm wondering what the fitment is. It's urethane so it should be decently strong (I wouldn't even consider a fiberglass or abs front lip) and it looks somewhat decent in the picture (the pictures of the lips installed on cars are fake, those are the real OEM lips - only the unpainted uninstalled picture looks real). Basically, I'm wondering if anyone has experience with it... the price is so low that it's kind of hard to pass up considering it's urethane.

i got that one on mine and it didnt fit right on a 94-97 but fits right on the 98-01... to fit on mine i had to cut part the bottom half the bumper. i just got mine as temporary till i get the jdm itr front end conversion... the lip though doesnt look to bad but it doesnt look AWSOME...

Yea I noticed those things too, I'm pretty picky about things like that. The thing is I kinda need to get a lip because the bottom of my bumper is super scratched up and Big O made a little crack on the very bottom which I want to cover up. I want to sell the car soon anyway so I don't want to pay $150+ for the real deal ITR lip, but then again I don't want to ruin the car if the lip's that bad.

You had to cut part of the 98-01 bumper to make the lip fit?

This is what I thought too, and I hate those lips, but this was the one that looked most like an actual ITR lip. The more I look at it the less it looks like it though. Where did you get yours and for how much? Seems like decent ITR replicas cost just as much as a used real deal ITR lip.

$85 vs. $189 is not just as cheap. I'd rather buy a used OEM lip than a jdmshit replica for that price.

That's the same exact lip for $35 more.

From my past experiences with Non-OEM lips. All of the rest never seem to fit right for some reason.
But you get what you pay for.

i would never buy another replica lip again...OEM is the way to go....you might think its ok but when you actually compare this polyurethane lip to the OEM itr lip, it does not have any correlation. The ABS lip looks more identical to the OEM lip and if I was on a tight budget, I would go with that but I am quite picky!-Ko
