When i was installing my beaks lower tie bar, i ran into a problem. The welded nut on the other side is stripped and now the bolt if stripped too. Does anyone know the measurement of the nut so i can re-thread it or should i just try and get the nut off and put my own on?

Also, when the beaks bar is on, the bolt is barely long enough to thread through the welded nut on the other side.. is this safe or did you guys get longer bolts?

it didn't come with longer bolts? i've never used the beaks bar, but i'd think you want a longer bolt...

 

anyone have the beaks bar that knows?? was i suppossed to get bolts with the tie bar?
