mpfi swap quick question

Default mpfi swap quick question

ive got most of the peices for my mpfi swap. the thing im having trouble finding is what is the best, and easiest intake manifold to use on my dpfi honda crx.

any ideas?? would a d16a6 manifold bolt up and sensors connect easily?? how about a d16z6 manifold??

for the mpfi swap, i think you can use the intake manifolds off the y8,z6&a6. the sensors are all the same but the FPR and stuff might be different cus i may be wrong but the FPR's from a vtec engine feeds more fuel. i think. but yeah, i'm using a z6 manifold. good luck man! you'll wet your pants when you'll hear how much of a difference in sound after the mpfi swap is done . goodluck!

what are you running for setup?? d15b2 with z6 manifold?? if so what did you do with the fpr??

d16z6, pm6 ecu. vafc hooked on. it pulls but i think i need the ex fpr still.

your running this on the 1.5 block right?? so it still runs alright, jus for the little extra kick you need the ex fpr?? also all the sensors and hoses hooked up the same??

nope i did a full z6 swap, block head, intake manifold blah blah minus the dizzy and ecu. i think my car would run more better using the ex fpr.. and for the connections, you gotta extended the eacv ( green ) and the tps ( dookie white ). for the tps, you gotta switch the outter wires around. Green/Yellow. then you wire up your injectors and crank sensor
