** mugen lip lol sorry iPhone typos ftl


Since I crashed my car my insurance company is offering to buy me a mugen lip the only problem is I have no idea where the hell to get it. I did what anyone would do and go to Honda to order it and to my surprise Honda can't order mugen parts apparently!? Well that's what the parts dept said then I went to inside just out of bordom to check out the mugen and I was talking to a sales rep and he said he's going to help me look

Does anyone know where I can get one

 

Do you own a MUGEN Si? If not then you cant order the parts without a huge hassle and connections.

The dealer gave me a price and told me maybe contact other dealers about it

insurance isnt going to pay for a front end conversion lol and i def. dont have that money haha

 

Just get the OEM front bumper. There is no way your insurance is going to replace your bumper AND buy you a $600 front lip. Also, isn't your car black? The lip will only come blue.

lol they are buying me the lip i asked them today bc theyre replacing the fake mugen lip i had with an hfp lip and i said since your getting an oem lip for me can it be the mugen one and for some dumb reason they bought it. yeh i know it only comes in fiji blue but ill pay the difference for getting it painted with no problem at all i mean im getting a $750 lip for free whats an extra 100 to get it painted?

I quite honestly doubt that's going to happen but ok.

honestly, they told me straight up that theyre getting it for me. besides, what do they know, they dont know that theres a huge difference even if they dont get it, i dont really like the hfp lip ill probobly sell it ill just make sure the body shop doesnt put it on my car and consider it used

its true that u cant order one from honda. i work for them and its almost impossible to get ur hands on it..its pretty ugly anyway espicially with just the lip i really dont think it will look so good and its def. gonna be more expensive if you can find one AND u will have to paint it.

 

the mugen rear lip is sexy as hell though... looks so nice with the mugen rally style wing.

 

yea i like the rear lip BUT i wish they didnt make the diffuser outta plastic i would like to see some carbon fiber considering it has a price tag of 30,000

Check the local dealership, when i got my Mugen SI, they said they have 6 Items on shelf to replace anything if i need new Mugen Items

Yeah but you need proof of ownership to actually purchase the Mugen items.

im getting it from someone who i guess has a mugen or knows someone who has a mugen? idk but im buying it off of him lol

I know a few people who placed orders and they were not completed because Honda Corporate caught on somehow when the orders were placed...

 

i work at honda and i can order any mugen part and get it i guess to many people going to the same honda to order it i already priced the exhaust and side skirts already its way cheaper then kingmotorsports

Have you physically ordered something and received it? Because many people on here who work for dealers have ordered the parts but the orders were not filled.
