Bikes did run this weekend, but had a hard time getting temps in tires up to stick in corners..2 riders down at end of kink. Temps on Sat. 60+ so they did a little better, but not enough grip in the corners with new pavement.

Running this weekend with Nasa, so we will see if it gets better.

April should be sweet

On to the new track:

Good: All I can say is Great, additons made me 10mph faster between 12-14... around 100mph going into 14 at my best speeds. From 14 to turn 1 i am now 7mph faster, which is what Brain had said. new layout...from 12 it goes past old turn, then crosses back in the middle of old 12-13 and cuts back onto the old 12-13 strait.... Single apex sweeper.. Good stuff. Have John's print outs of new track and layout from Airplane view, I'll get that up too.

Pay for garage but it is nice open air garage for working on cars. Pics up soon.

Bad news: new track and me being in first group on new pavement ===== Rocks and crap big time had to go off line behind cars with slicks the first 3 sessions...glad i brought the project car since it is 36dollar paint. This will not be a problem in April since the track will get lots of rubber the next few months before wetodd, should be fast track by then. SLICK at first with new pavement mid-apex but great feeling if you like throttle lift oversteer in the sweepers. . Also, exit of 12 rumble strips are being replaced today before this weekends Nasa Southeast event. and some patching, mid track in the old sweeper there was a little rippling mid to late apex on corner exits. ie tearing up the track
all be fixed by this weekend, so i will give another update next week. lot of pics coming

I've riden on Sebring/Daytona/Watkins Glen/L. Seca/Sears Point/Lime Rock/Rockingham.

Driven: Beaver/MAM/VIR/All Summit Point tracks/CMP/Roebling Road/Road Atlanta/Lowes

Love new track set-up ....for lower hp cars this layout will make it more = for the little guy. This also helps with brakes and tires... can't wait to see what you guys think.
