Whats the idea if you don't mind talking about it?
I was wanting to mod my stock cx muffler to 2 1/4" piping to match my exhaust, That way I can use it to quiet down my noisy ride, and still flow good. It's just to loud right now with my 5 Zigen Fireball Exhaust, & str8 pipe.
I think i've seen a F/S thread were someone modded theirs. Any 1 know?
Sorry not trying to thread jack.

my apexi axle back fell apart after 5 years of use (used in CO for a year so i guess it started rusting after 1 winter), so i wanted the muffler to bolt to the apexi piping, but i cut off the muffler part so i just have the stock diameter piping.
its quite at idle, but raspy when youre accelerating, slight drone on fwy. works for getting to the track thats it.
btw, i found one a while back.
