f20b comes sleeved stock... h22a i have to take to the machine shop... so how do i make it faster then the h22a
they say the f20b is higher compession... then the h22a.. f20b less torque.. but its going to be dual cam with an h22 head...
the h22 will have a more usable powerband on the street.
F20B doesnt use FRM ? I saw this on another post but it seems odd.

I go for a H22a. that will be sick on and EF and plus the torque on the big block. I wont mind having one.
I get this asked about 20 times a day...
F20B (blue top) cost more to begin with... I always scratched my head on that... (I know the rairety of it)
JDM H22A will make about 20 more hp and 15-20 ft lbs of torque and at this certain time was a couple hundred cheaper... to me it was a no brainer... JDM H22
